The photographer has managed to show the flow of moving water by selecting a shutter speed slow enough to blur the motion and fast enough not to blur the water into a creamy strip. I think the image sits
nicely in the frame, the diagonal composition adds energy and the image is in focus throughout. However the small nature of the flow is not exciting and it is further diminished by shooting down
from above. Photography is an illusion (3 dimensions implied on a 2 dimensional surface, monochrome images representing colour, etc.) and shooting from
lower may have given the impression of a grander scale. Also be careful of the highlights as I think we are losing detail in the centre of the water.
