Judges Comments

A strongly minimalist image which consists of a series of branching lines spreading across the frame. The crop has been nicely executed with the image filling
the frame without feeling cramped. There are large areas of negative space which have interesting shapes and these areas have great texture
visible. The image also has a strong story of seasonal cycles with the patterns being formed by water that is no longer present.
