This photo is about the gala which is lost somewhat against a very pleasantly blurred background. (A darker background would help
the bird to stand out a bit better.) If the lighting on the bird, (especially on its ‘face’) was as bright as the branch,
the subject would have been well lit. Nice detail on the upper wing but verging on burnout on the back.
