Judges Comments

This is a very emotive image with the cool tones supporting the mist in generating a feeling of calmness and time of day. The three bright trees
near the shoreline pop out of the image as an obvious subject and the reflections in the water assist in building the feeling of peace and calm. I do
find the bench on the shoreline and the roadway to be dominant elements in the composition and they are not in keeping with the calm nature scene.
I would also have liked to see the swimming duck placed away from the reflection and a tighter crop might help focus us in on the subject or the items of interest.
