The author has used layering and atmospheric perspective or haze to give a sense of space and distance in this image. The mountain range
has a beautiful consistent colour palette and a soft ethereal feel that is quite engaging. I did think that the foreground elements of the
rocks and the trees with their hard shapes and contrasting colour palette did not work well with the background of the image.
The bright area in the sky around the sun also strongly draws attention and should be toned down.
