The long panoramic frame is nicely suited to the thin strips of colour that make up this image. The strip containing the wave is nicely positioned as the lightest area
of the image between the two darkest areas of the image and this draws attention to the high contrast. The focus in the image is generally soft which is appropriate to
both the subject of water and also to the emotional context of the image. I do like the sensation of movement at the top of the breaking wave, especially onthe left side
of the image. For me the image evokes feelings of mystery but unfortunately, the bright areas in the centre of the wave appear to be overexposed with little detail.
