A very simple image that I think works. There is a contrast in the soft, flowing lines and the gentleness of the feather against the harder more geometric shapes of the wood chip that it is
sitting on. The image has been well taken and is well exposed with a good tonal range. The feather has been photographed perpendicular to the camera so that there are no issues with depth of
field, keeping all of the image in focus. The placement of the feather across the full diagonal with a slightly flowing s-curve and gradation of tones from dark to light along the feather carries us across the image nicely.
