For me, the subject of this image is really the Hotel sign, as it is central and is the thing most standing out. The boats on the roof are
incidental and one is clipped at the top of frame. Perhaps you could have walked around and found a better angle to show the oddity of this.
Again middle of the day, flat light doesn't show the textures of the building and roof.
