The author has been brave enough to get in the right spot for big wave photography. The low viewpoint
emphasizes the power of the waves as they burst through the safety fence and a fast shutter speed has
been used to freeze the action. I feel it needs a bit more midtone contrast to make the detail in the left-most
wave pop out and there are a couple of dark smudges in the sky possibly causes by spray drifting onto the lens.
