Judges Comments

(i) Content (story, mood etc): A descriptive photo showing a turtle swimming near a sunken boat - no story as such
(ii) Composition: Well composed in the centre of the image with the turtle on a dynamic diagonal, and good
compositing using contrasting colours (the warm colours of the turtle and the cool blue of the background)
(iii) Technical (lighting etc): Good lighting on the main subject, good use of aperture size to have most of the
animal in focus and to blur the background
