(ii) Composition: Given the story is about the fungus, or the fungus in its environment, the top quarter of the image
and the bottom quarter of the image add very little to the story - try cropping to a 19x6 aspect (widescreen) format
(iii) Technical (lighting etc): the sharpness and contrast of the green moss (?) on the centre-left
of the image is very eye-catching and draws my eye away from the main subject, the fungus
