Judges Comments

I assume the photographer wants the viewer to concentrate on the ropes; texture, shapes, shadows,
highlights etc. But, the inclusion of all the background objects competes with the objective. Was
there a different viewpoint to the shot? Would cropping the shot improve it? Would getting in really
close to the rope improve it? These are the questions to ask, before you take the shot.
