Good sports action. I like the way you have used a fast shutter speed to freeze the action and get the player sharp.
Using a short depth of field helps to isolate your subject to make him stand out against the nicely blurred background.
I felt you could bring the highlights down a little as you are losing a little detail on his right should in the light areas.
