For me, this image has not really worked. I like the idea of simplicity, however, to do this you need to have some strong compositional elements.
I felt by having the tree in the middle of the frame and the lines of the hills behind it wasn’t strong enough
as a line drawing and shape and there was no connection between the 2 elements.
