Like a Circle in a Spiral

Judges Comments

The strong curves of the sculpture set the composition for the rest of the image. Having that shape reflected in the movement of the people around the feature
would have been the icing on the cake - you have it but only in part. The composition has been disturbed on the right hand side and this detracts from its overall effect.
Repositioning yourself (if possible) to include that detail and exclude others (such as the lights in the lower right) would have strengthened the image. You just then
needed to wait for the pedestrians to co-operate - or to re-create the effect in post production. Imagine if you will, many exposures blended in photoshop - how would
that have looked? Or, a long exposure with the pedestrians ghosting through it?
