This mantis is sitting up in nice position to be photographed, the angle this was taken from is, however, a little unfortunate as the
closest point and main focus point was its tail end. As with any animal or insect the most important point of attention should be its head,
had you moved a little higher and got more side on you would have presented the whole insect and been able to get much more if not all of it on the
same plane and in sharper overall focus. the slight change of angle may well have allowed you to avoid the bright patches of sky in the background which are a distraction.
