This is the kind of photo that needs context to create atmosphere. The old house fills half the frame but that's not the story is it.
As it stands it’s a real estate photo (square on, eye level, sun almost overhead) whereas a competition shot would look for
a misty early morning light, include some surroundings to give it a context, and perhaps even come back on a rainy day to
complete the atmosphere. So I'd stand back a bit, include more foreground and set the house a lot smaller in
a vertical portrait format frame. Its a scene with great possibilities but calls for a bit of work.
