Inside the beautiful little square of the La Marsa tea house you can find the town's central water well. The ingenious pump system, build of wood and ropes, has to be activated by a dromadary!
I don't know weather this remarquable piece of ancient engeneering is still in use. When I was there, the dromadary was apparently just eating lots of bread, resting, and posing proudly for me to take his portrait!
