A couple of shots of a Dunlin in breeding plumage. I had never seen a Dunlin in breeding plumage before so when I heard that one was hanging out at a pond very close to where I live I went out right away to see if I could find him. This is one of the more striking shorebird species in breeding plumage with strong buffy coloring on top and a black belly that are absent in the fall when we normally see these birds.
