This afternoon I stopped to visit a Ring-billed Gull colony. The poor gull on the right had to endure regular theft of its nesting materials from the couple on the left, who were building a nest nearby. If that weren't enough, the couple on the left, at one point, started mating right in front of the victim of their thievery.
