Hummgingbird Clearwing Moth (Hemaris thysbe)

I spotted this moth a few feet further along the trail I was on just as I was turning around to leave because I thought there wouldn't be much to see. So when I saw this moth I turned back around and continued on! I seem to spot things when I am leaving, preparing to leave, thinking about leaving, or thinking about how unproductive my time out has been.

This was just to entice you to stay! Cannot get over how beautiful this is. Exceptionally clear and you can even see the wings vibrating as this moth nectars on the cow vetch. Very well done.
