This little mouse (he appeared to be a juvenile) was found chewing up the books in my bedroom closet at 2 am. I caught him and then released him out back during the day by the waste area. I always bring my camera with me when I release the mice hoping for a photo, but as soon as I open the lid of the container the mice are gone off into the waste area in the blink of an eye. This mouse, however, had to be scooped up out of the container and put on the ground. Once on the ground the mouse sat there for a few moments before scurrying off into the waste area like all the other mice I've caught.
