At one point this morning I stopped to examine the flowers of a red maple and when I glanced to my left to look at the river (and make sure that nobody suspicious was in the area) I saw this cute scene with a tiny sapling spruce among its mature relatives. I then pulled out my wide angle lens for this one photo.
