Brunei Darussalam

My first visit to the Brunei Darussalam. The country is oil rich. The oil in Brunei is called light sweet crude oil and is the most expensive type of crude oil available in the world, which explains why the country exports 95% of the oil to Japan. Private industries is not very well developed and most of the merchandise are imported. There are only 480,000 citizens of Brunei and majority of them rely on Government offices / businesses for their livelihood. Per capita income is US$31,000 and almost everyone owns a car. There are only 40 taxis available in the country and you have to call to get one. The roads and infrastructure around Brunei are excellent and hardly any form of traffic.
