The Malecon in Havana is a famous promenade area, and is prone to being battered by the Atlantic waves crashing against it... I watched this guy for some time just sitting on the rocks in front of the Malecon, almost daring the waves to approach him.

Your patience paid off. I've seen dramatic pics of the front taken in the wet season!

Yes we had a terrifying experience driving along the Malecon in a taxi, the driving on the phone, when a huge wave smashed over the wall and it the windscreen with a slam.... was I pleased when we got out the car.
