Foraging

Saturday 26th November 2005 - Day 343

A walk on Belstone Common, up to the neighbouring Tor's today, and half the local population appeared to have similar ideas! Sledges flying everywhere, and some eternal optimist out on his ski's... The local residents - like this one - have seen it all before, and are coping very well - so far - in fending for themselves. 2 and a half hours of walk and I feel great, except perhaps the eyes that froze in the wind!

The lighting and contrast the white against the horse's mane is terrific.
