Sunday 9th October 2005 - Day 295

Made a visit to Morwhellam Quay today. One of those living museum places. A gentle days stroll, and a drive through an old copper mine, washed down with Pasty and Chips, followed by apple pie and clotted cream... so much for the diet! Fascinating place, and it must have been a site when it was fully working in the mid 19th century. However, mining of copper and arsenic wouldnt be my favourite job...

He was carving a walking stick handle - I'm not sure I want his trousers though...
