Evening reflections

Thursday 6th October 2005 - Day 292

Its only when I view this that I realise that it looks slightly sinister... someone feeling and probably looking a bit pale taking photos of someone walking up an alley at night..... hmmm

I gave blood this evening, and walking back to the car thought I'd use the camera. I think 1600 ISO and Neatimage works quite well :)

This is exactly what I love about Europe! Small, intimate pedestrian walkways.
Beautiful!

Beautiful image, Lee--all golden. Someone left a comment on my PaD that you sneak out at night. Now I see what he means.

I am impressed you could hold the camera still enough after giving blood to shoot something that sharp at 1/20s. :) Since I can't give blood for another couple of years--give some more!! :)

Love how the lights shines the walkway and the walls.
Very atmospheric!
You have blood and still had the energy to take pics? Oy. I would be dead asleep.

This is a wonderful shot, Lee. Looks like a nice part of town (what with the art gallery, and all!)

Faye White06-Oct-2005 20:39
excellent! I probably would have been wary of a stranger in an alley, with a camera..... do you have the shutter sound turned off?
Robin Reid06-Oct-2005 20:24
Excellent work Lee. One of your best. I like the tone and feel, and does look a bit sinister which makes it VERY good.

LOL I would have used my pepper spray on you, if I wasn't a photography freak myself! I rather like the eeriness of it.
Mindy McNaugher06-Oct-2005 19:39
Excellent results!! Has a rather mysterious quality to it with the lone figure going down the alley, and the lighting as it is, but then I am drawn to photos that have a feeling of mystery to them!
