Meldon Lake

Sunday 2nd October 2005 - Day 288

This is really disused quarry pit that has filled in, but for some reason is shown on some maps as Meldon Lake. This doesnt show the vertical face I clambered down! I was waiting for a splash any moment, fortunately all my, and the photg parts stayed together :)

Well I guess they say that the best shots require the most effort. This one was definitely worth it. Very beautiful, and I love the reflections in the water.
