Painted Hall

Sunday 31st July - Day 225

Impressive, isn't it? This is where Nelson lay in state after his death (strange, he wouldn't have done so before he died, would he...) It has also been the Mess Hall of the Royal Naval College, Greenwich, wouldn't it be lovely to be eating here all the time.

Today, spent some time with my parents, it has been some time since I have seen them. Now my back hurts.... I don't think that the two are related...

LOL Jeanne.
Marvalous perspective. Almost like being there.
I can see why you're complaining that your back's hurting. :)

what else do you need but a camera when you have a masterpiece like this in front of you...

Magnificent! I could spend an entire day just looking up....bet THAT's why your back hurts!

Nice use of the lens

Usually my BRAIN hurts after being with my parents, not my back....

Great shot!

Excellent perspective Lee. The 12-24 lens certainly came in useful!

The angle on this is magnificent. The sheen on the columns and curves is wonderful and I'm still trying to figure how you got so much in. Your back hurts from walking on all that hard surface instead of the cushy green grass you're accustomed to.

Quite a nice angle on this.--Rene

Well captured. I've been in that room. My back didn't hurt! ;-)
