Nine Stones Revisited

Monday 25th July - Day 219

Back in January I visited a local archealogical site, well several months on, I am back again.... and still there is a grey sky!

For the full story, and record of my previous PaD visit, see http://www.pbase.com/reddishtiger/image/38658401

Ohhhh... I think I owe some of you an explantion for yesterdays comments - it appears that bacon butty got lost in translation....
Bacon - the thin slices of cured meat from the back end of a pig, not thick like gammon, or bacon, steak
Butty - colloquial term for sandwich
Bacon Butty - pieces of bacon between, two slices of bread, topping as desired.... more than the sum of the parts!

Love this in black and white! The tones and the soft focus in the distance all contribute to a wonderful moody feel to this shot!

perfect in b/w

I love the feel of this picture in B&W. So a bacon butty is similar to a BLT? Or a BLT is a type of bacon butty.

Half of the Coronation Street series was taken up with the cast eating Bacon Buttys wasn't it :>)
I like the ruggedness shown with the B&W choice, Lee.

I like the overcast sky. Thanks for clearing up the whole "butty" thing for me...that one had me scratching my head.

I actually think the grey sky looks good in this image, contrasts well.
