Abandoned Mill Building, Okehampton

Tuesday 21st June - Day 185

Shouldnt I have been up with the druids at dawn today.... yeah, right! I admit if I had been up then the sun wouldn't have emerged anyway.

In the same area as yesterdays photo, I was looking for details in some of the buildings, and noticed these purple flowers sprouting near to a drain. They lifted the almost monotonesin the wall and window.

You've got some very appealing abandoned building shots,Lee. I can't find anything around here.
There are so many different colors and textures in the image,I can sit and it'll entertain me for quite awhile.

Okay, Lee...woke up this a.m. turned on the TV and saw a news piece about the huge crowd of people gathered for the solstice sunrise over Stonehenge...looked really hard for a red beard and a D70:) Looks like you were somewhere else though this a.m.!

Very nice composition. Love the splash of color in the bottom corner. Well done!

Very good composition, strong colours and excellent detail in the stonework. The purple flowers add a nice touch and balance the composition.

Lovely photo. The colors of the stonework in this are amazing and each piece is a different size and shape. The flowers give it majesty.
