Saturday 4th June - Day 168

An afternoon roaming the ruins at Okehampton castle - not a great afternoon cloud-wise, but pleasant enough nonetheless.

The castle dates from the 13th century, but has been in ruins since the 16th century... it occupies a prime spot on the west of the town, dominating the road and river crossings.



And the answer to last nights picture quiz? Well, no-one got it! Those that had a knob in the guess were warmer than most. It is a bedknob, on the corner of the bedstead.
