Rubber Plant Macro

Monday 21st March 2005 - Day 93

I've finally succumbed to the Pbase lurgey.... I can hardly breathe in the mornings, such is my head cold. So I havent felt really up to venturing very far today.

This Rubber plant (it probably has a scientific name, but I don't know it...) sits in the conservatory and is triffid like in its growth. I felt that it deserved some close up treatment. No lighting here, other than that coming through the leaf.

Nikon D70 ,Sigma 50mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro
1/2s f/11.0 at 50.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

Out here these things have been known to move houses off their foundations....took a while & lots of sewer pipe damage for people to realize these were not a good garden plant :>O

Microscopic! I looked just a few weeks ago at real plants, very close up. You did a great job on this rubber plant.

Nice macro. Will have to study the rubber plant better; always took it for granted. Feel better.
