Tomioka 55mm f1.2

No Monthly Fee Debit Card

Meet crazy Tommy.

Mad bokeh is due to the rear of the lens being sliced off, and the aperture is lopsided to match.

Normally an M42-to-SA adapter will work to adapt M42 lenses to Sigma. Be careful, you cannot use an M42-to-K(Pentax K) adapter in place of an M42-to-SA(Sigma) adapter with this lens, or the rear glass will scrape the Sigma body's ir-dust filter. You cannot use a top quality Japanese jtat.com M42-to-SA adapter, either, because the threads bind. Use the Polish M42-to-SA adapter. M42-to-SA adapters usually have a flange that will have to be ground away so the M42 threads can screw farther than usual into the adapter(see photos), but leave the flange over the auto stop down pin. It's easy to break off the auto stop down pin when you are screwing on the adapter, or to get fingerprints on the rear element while holding the pin down.
