Ubit Team's 1-to-4 GPU Riser|Adapter|Splitter Board is what I used to expand my motherboard's capacity from having only 2 cpu-lane slots that will physically accept two GPU cards, to four RX580 8GB cards. 5 gpu cards will fit into this setup, 1 in motherboard slot and 4 on risers attached to the Ubit adapter. If I had 2 Ubit riser adapters, 8 gpu's on risers would connect to 2 of these Ubit adapters, or if 3 of these Ubit adapters then 12 gpu's on risers would fit.

Motherboard is Z370 SLI Plus, Intel i3-8100 4 core cpu, with 8GB of Corsair DDR-2400 ram.

Currently I am using HiveOS mining os, which bases on Ubuntu.
