Capital Columns

Washington, DC

When in DC we toured the Capital Building. After proceding through the security check point and
passing our camera gear through the x-ray machines, we were told to proceed around to the front of the
building. Nobody told us we couldn't take pictures of the outside of the building until after we had
collected several. I am glad for this or we wouldn't have gotten this shot. It is hard to see but
in the top left corner is an officer leaning over and has me in his cross-hairs. It's a damn good
thing I didn't make any sudden movements, lol.

This POV detail gives the look of building jewelry--as design intended

Did you not know that in many countries it is forbidden to take photos of this kind?
I will tell you one day what happened to a poor Italian photographer in Burma. while I was there :-))

Anyway the capture is wonderful! Ciao, Anna.
