The National Cathedral in Washington, DC is open for public viewing and there are daily Docent-led
tours through the cathedral for a donation.

We took one of the tours and were rewarded with a wealth of information by our Docent. She was an
elderly lady and a real sweetheart. She had such an easy-going charm. With a quick wit and a glint in
her eye, she told us of the colourful history and many stories about the building of the cathedral.
