Known by Berliners as 'Alte Fritz', this statue of Frederick the Great atop his favorite horse is one of several sights at the historic Unter den Linden Boulevard.

I think this palace is Schloss Charlottenburg with the statue of the "Great Prince Elect" Friedrich Wilhelm by Andreas Schlueter (1698). Frederick II the Great lived also there occasionally, his main residence was the Palace of Sanssousi in Potsdam.
