King's Plow Ballet

The Gwinnett Ballet Theatre dancers went off-site for this gallery! King's Plow Arts Center is a renovated turn of the 20th century "plow" factory in downtown Atlanta. It is now home to thriving Arts related businesses. There is also a large art gallery. This shoot took place in the Art Gallery and an old factory space. All images were shot with my Canon 5D with 70-200 f2.8L IS Lens. Art direction was provided by Lisa Sheppard-Robson.

Richard god sir Before it to the photos I think you should consider getting you work published in a high end magazine or book ,a coffee table book would sell for sure or somthing like that your talent needs to be shown trust me on this ok ok it's time

No matter how many ballet shots I see, this is and remains one of my favourite series... but then again... you have so many series that fit the bill of being my favourite. I guess that is the advantage of being able to visit and revisit galleries. This is just magical and I guess that besides being a great fan of you as a photographer, I am starting to follow the choreography by Lisa Sheppard Robson as well. You two are a perfect team. Thanks for sharing these joint ventures.

Every time I come back to your galleries Richard, all I do is shake my head in disbelief. I compare the feeling to to a person who is not quite able to describe the nuances of fine wine....they just know that what they are drinking is exceptional and one day they will fully realise how good it really is. A retired ballerina once said to me, " The thing about dancers is they know how to occupy space".
