Red-veined Meadowhawk (Sympetrum madidum)

Super rare in WI as its normal range is western with an eastern limit of North Dakota and extreme NW Minnesota. Only one previous state record until I photographed this one in my front yard in July 2014. Females very similar to the more expected Variegated Meadowhawk but lack yellow at the lower end of the white thoracic stripes and have black legs without yellow striping.
