The Chequamegon Bay area has only 2 records each of Thayer's and "Kumlien's" Iceland Gull. Unfortunately, my field observations and photos do not adequately distinguish this intermediate individual. Thayer's/Kumlien's Gull is front left with two Herring Gulls front right and Ring-billed Gulls in rear center. Note the size and wingtip patterns.
