Moderate white bib, back of head almost entirely white, and intermediate barring on breast and back. Size was tough to judge in field and I never got to see the bird from any other angle than this. Body shape suggests male to me, as the tail and bulbous head clearly project from the body. I guess I can't even rule out an adult male, but who knows...
