Ashland-Bayfield Rd. between Wakefield and Klaus Rds., Ashland & Bayfield Counties, 27 November 2008

Gray Jays aren't rare in more boreal-like forests of southern Ashland and Bayfield Counties but they rarely occur as close to Ashland as this bird. However, this particular individual has now been present at this same location -- in vicinity of a large spruce plantation -- for at least the past 3 winters!
