The idea for this event was to launch the largest ever firework in fact a World record and followed by a spectacular fireworks display at the Port. The event was organized to celebrate the 80th Birthday of His Majesty the King and took place on 30th September 2007 at the Bali Hai Port, Pattaya. In fact the World record firework attempt failed as after it launched it climbed to about 300 feet and then plummeted into the sea, but at least the rest of the display was a success.
