RAYMOND, I want to say sincerely that your photos are the best I have found of this amazing little bird. I am so fascinated the by the mating walk with the slo-motion retarded stepping they do. I've been working on some miniature bone carvings of the euro woodcock that will be fully detailed and colored accurately. Your photos have for sure filled some gaps in my understanding the details.
