My paternal grandparents retired to this farm on the North River of Mobjack Bay in the early '40s. As a young boy, it's where
I learned to swim, sail, fish, catch crabs, skim cream, pluck chickens, respect my elders, use table manners, and try to shoot
crows in the cornfield. The house is now unoccupied and in disrepair, but remains my place of dreams.
