Image of a diamond. LX3 camera attached to a microscope, 40x, RAW, ISO 200, f/4, 1/25 sec. A series of nine images taken a various focus positioning, saved as 16-bit uncompressed TIF files. DeepSkystacker program used to stack 9 images to improve depth of focus (DOF).

Nice pic's, Barry- Of special interest to me, because- even though I just got a Nikon P5100, I'm still thinking about adding the LX3.
