Macro feather

Sulphur Crested Cockatoos visit our garden each day I found this single feather on the lawn. I just had to capture it's beauty.

This is a wonderful feather portrait , light is so lovely and the detail of the feather is pin sharp against the dark background complimenting the white feather.
The Actor Tom Hanks would relate to this fine image for when he played the part of Forrest Gump a feather such as this was in this movie with wonderful music attached the scene.
