Franklin Presbyterian Church, Holmes Co. MS

Franklin Presbyterian Church was founded in 1841. It was the site of a Civil War skirmish involving troops from the 3rd U.S. Colored Cavalry under the command of Gen. Benjamin Grierson and Confederate troops under the command of Gen. Wirt Adams.
